The 12.3 boys are an enthusiastic and energetic group of players who have quickly bonded as friends and as a team, and are supportive of each other on and off the court.
They’ve already had a terrific season, and after a slow start in the first round of grading, they found their ‘magic mojo’ at the Eltham/Dandenong tournament – taking out their division and going on an eleven game winning streak to qualify for Met 2. They also finished runner up in the grand final of the Adelaide Easter Classic.
The team has been developing a challenging and exciting game plan under coach Kaya Bengue, taking big leaps forward in the hope to become a force to be reckoned with.
The boys behaviour and positive attitude is a credit to themselves and their parents, and everyone has had a lot of fun watching the team grow and develop their skills as Magic players.
