Congratulations to Oliver Dempsey for being selected to represent Victoria in the recent Pacific School Games in Adelaide.
These games are held every four years and are run by School Sports Australia. Oliver was one of only ten boys selected by Schools Sports Victoria (SSV) across all of Victoria for the u12 team after a rigorous selection process that was contested by over 1500 boys.
Oliver’s Victoria team played every state and territory in Australia in the tournament and also played India. They were undefeated and beat NSW in the grand final. Well done to Oliver. A fantastic effort!
Oliver and Billy Bryant, another Magic Player, have been selected to play for Vic Metro in the Southern Cross Challenge (SCC) in January. We congratulate them and the other Magic players playing in SCC and the East Coast Challenge this January and wish all players the best of luck.
