Dear Members,
Please find the attached notice (link below) for the Basketball Hawthorn Incorporated’s Annual General Meeting to be held online via Zoom at 7pm on Monday, 12th December, 2022.
The current members of the Board represent a group of people that committed to saving the Association earlier this year. In September 2022, they were officially elected to the Board unopposed. This group remains committed to delivering a new strategic direction for Magic Representative as well as both Junior & Senior Domestic pathways and competitions. The long-term strategy, which will include consultations from all Members, will be shared with the community by the end of Q1 2023.
No members will be stepping down at this upcoming AGM, however we remain committed to achieving diversity within the Magic Leadership Group and will look do to so via various subcommittees to be formed in the coming months. Anyone interested in supporting the Association in this way, please email secretary@hawthornbasketball.com.au.
Members (see Rule 7 of the Constitution for membership categories) are required to RSVP prior to the meeting to receive the Zoom link and to receive the reports at the AGM. No proxy or postal votes are allowed at the AGM.
