The Magic U14 Girls were thrilled to have one of Australia’s most decorated players attend training last Sunday when Michelle Timms stopped by.
Michelle impressed everyone with her insightful observations, technical knowledge and advice during the training drills and then later addressed the girls who asked her a range of questions. Michelle’s message centered on training with game like intensity, proper preparation, dedication and the desire to be your best, and how she used playing with her dog Charlie in the back yard to improve her speed and agility!
When asked what the most important skill a young basketballer could have she replied “heart, you can add the rest”
