Magic Star earns Centre of Excellence Scholarship

Basketball Australia has recently announced that Hawthorn Junior Magic star, Sara-Rose Smith has been offered one of two new Scholarships to the BA Centre of Excellence Program.

Smith was offered the Scholarship following her performances at the 2018 National Junior Championships playing with VIC Metro, and to top off what has been an excited year for the youngster, Smith has also been selected to be part of the Australian team to compete in the 3on3 competition at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Argentina.

Join us in congratulating Sara-Rose on an outstanding achievement as we wish her all the best for her journey with the Centre of Excellence.
