Advisor Award – Shay Manchanda
This award is judged solely by the Referee’s advisor. The recipient of this award is a member that shows dedication, willingness to improve, an active role within the association and an incredulous desire to reach the next level of officiating. This particular recipient will no doubt be a credit to Basketball Hawthorn.

Why did you become a referee?
I wanted some money and mum thought it would be a good idea to learn what refs experience because I used to get mad at them all the time when I played (yes I was one of those kids)
