All Basketball Suspended Under Government Enforced Circuit Breaker Action

Dear All,
All of us at Basketball Hawthorn are very sad that the snap 5-day lockdown across greater Melbourne announced today will impact our competitions – including the much anticipated return to play for junior domestic in the Summer Slam tomorrow and all VJBL matches tonight.
We would like to reiterate the Government announcement which includes a ban on all indoor sports competitions and the closure of all indoor sporting venues until 11.59pm next Wednesday.
This means no basketball across any program, competition or training can occur between 11.59pm tonight and 11.59pm next Wednesday.
VJBL has also clarified that no matches scheduled for this evening will be played and all competition is cancelled until next Wednesday at 11.59pm.
